Decision: To set and agree the household
waste container charges for 2021-22
It was decided to apply ‘option 2’ where a price increase will be applied
to only those items projected to operate at a loss.
This decision is delegated to the Executive Director for Place under
Dorset Councils Scheme of Delegation.
Applying option 2 will ensure the purpose of these charges, which is to
allow the service to recover the all costs associated with purchasing and
delivering some of the household waste containers, will be achieved in 2021-22
financial year.
Two other price increase options were considered and discounted.
