The Board is a joint executive body for the delivery of the public health functions carried out by the shared public health service (known as Public Health Dorset) on behalf of Dorset Council and Bournemouth, Christchurch and Poole Council. The Board will continue to be the joint executive for so long as the two councils are working in partnership.
