Decisions

That:

a)    The application to divert part of Bridleway 31, Hilton be accepted and an order made;

b)    The order includes provisions to modify the definitive map and statement to record the changes made as a consequence of the diversion; and

c)    If the order is unopposed, it be confirmed by the Council.

(The decision taken is detailed within the Scheme of Delegation in the Council’s Constitution.)

1.    That the Council makes a revocation order under s.14(2)(c) of the Planning (Hazardous Substances) Act 1990 to revoke the Hazardous Substances Consent (00/00243/HAZ) in place for the storage of natural gas on the site of Weymouth Holder Station, Newstead Road, Weymouth, Dorset; and

2.    That authority is given to submit the revocation order to the Secretary of State for confirmation, pursuant to s.15 of the Act.

This decision is taken under delegated powers, as set out in paragraph 151 of the Officer Scheme of Delegation, in the Council’s constitution.

A Licence to assign the Gresham Hotel lease, 120 The Esplanade, Weymouth. A 35 years Full Repairing and insuring Lease dated 1st October 2015.

The record relates to the following decision made by Mr Adrian Felgate, Senior Environmental Health Officer Housing Standards, under delegated authority on the 8 January 2021:

    (i)         The decision that no significant breach of site licence condition 6(ii) or 2(iv)(c) of the protected site at plot 9 White Horse Park, Osmington, Weymouth, Dorset has been identified and no compliance notices will be served.

The decision (in consultation with the Portfolio Holder for Housing and Community Safety and the s.151 officer) to purchase the property known as 1 Wooperton Street Weymouth to provide 3 one bed properties for temporary accommodation, the power to make such decisions having been delegated to the Corporate Director for Housing in accordance with paragraph 13(b) of the decisions of the Cabinet on 8 September 2020.

The record relates to the following decision made by Mr Andrew Billany, Corporate Director Housing and Community Safety, under delegated authority to serve an Empty Dwelling Management Order:

(i)             the decision to serve an Empty Dwelling Management Order on 4^th January 2021 to replace an existing Empty Dwelling Management Order which is due to expire on the 5^th February 2021
