As the prevalence of the COVID-19 virus increases, the protection of residents is a priority and as such, exercise should be considered outside of enclosed spaces.

 

 

Alternative Options considered and rejected

 

Alternative options include withdrawal of the service through full closure of leisure centres. This has been ruled out at this stage with the decision supporting residents to continue to exercise where possible.
