The Harbours Committee is responsible for exercising
functions of the Council as a harbour authority as set out in the Harbours Act
1964. The committee is responsible for any
other functions arising under any Local Act and/or byelaws in respect of the
operational issues in relation to harbour land of any harbours within the area
of the Council.
