To grant planning permission, subject to conditions, for development
described as ‘Construction of a temporary compound comprising of a kiosk unit
to house data exchange for telecommunications (Jurassic Fibre) including
concrete slab for placement, and 1.8 metre high steel palisade perimeter
fencing’ at Marsh Sports Complex Full Site, Weymouth Outdoor Education Centre, Knightsdale Road, Weymouth, in accordance with the ‘minded
to’ decision of the Western and Southern Area Planning Committee on 2 December
2021 in respect of planning application P/FUL/2021/02076.
Planning application P/FUL/2021/02076 was considered by the Western and
Southern Area Planning Committee on 2 December 2021. The committee’s
‘minded-to’ resolution was to grant planning permission subject to the
agreement of the Highway Authority to the submitted construction method
statement, and subject to conditions. As the nominated officer, I confirmed at
the meeting that this decision would be taken forward under delegated powers,
in line with the committee’s ‘minded-to’ resolution.
Confirmation has now been received from the Highways Authority that they
are content with the submitted construction management plan, and therefore the
decision can now be issued, in line with the ‘minded-to’ resolution of the
committee.
The Highways Authority have requested that an additional informative is
added, as set out below. It is considered that this informative does not
materially alter the decision, and can therefore be
added under delegated powers.
