Purpose:

Dorset Council has a legal requirement to create a Domestic Abuse Strategy as set out in the Domestic Buse Acy 2021. This was the second Strategy the Council had written such legislation came into place. The Strategy requires sign-off from the Council.

Decision:

That the Domestic Abuse Strategy 2025-28 be approved.

 

Reason for the decision

 

To ensure the Council met its statutory duty under the Domestic Abuse Act 2021 relating to preparing and publishing a domestic abuse strategy.
