0-19 Children and Young People Public Health Nursing Service and the Integrated
Sexual Health Service contracts are currently die to end on 30 September 2026. Due
to delays in procurement planning arising from the disaggregation of Public Health
functions, approval is sought to extend the Integrated Sexual Health Service
contract by 6 months and the 1-19 public Health Nursing Service contract by 12
months. This will enable appropriate staging and completion of procurement activity.
The Cabinet Member for Health and Housing presented the exempt report and proposed the recommendation. This was seconded by Cllr S Clifford.
Decision
That the recommendations set out in the exempt report be approved.
Reason for the decision
To allow a more managed approach to the phasing of capacity and necessary procurement activity.
