Reason for Decision

Changes take account of:

            i.        Consideration of the supplementary planning document by Bournemouth, Christchurch and Poole Council at Cabinet and Council Meetings following Dorset Council’s Cabinet Meeting;

          ii.        Emerging Dorset Heathlands Planning Framework Supplementary Planning Document.

Alternative options considered

Refer back to the council’s cabinet for re-consideration, not pursued as:

i.              the council’s cabinet granted delegated authority (to Executive Director for Place in consultation with the Portfolio Holder for Planning) to agree textual changes, or amendments, to the supplementary planning document; and

ii.            the nature of the changes (summarised in Table 1) are not considered to be significant for local communities.
