Purpose:

Traffic Regulation Order – Bowleaze Coveway and Preston Road, Weymouth – Amend the existing ‘no waiting midnight to 6am’ to ‘no waiting 10pm to 6am’ at Bowleaze Coveway. Introduce no loading or unloading at any time restrictions (around the Preston Road/ Bowleaze Coveway junction) Formalise existing no waiting at any time restrictions.

That having considered the proposal to implement the new parking restrictions as advertised. 

Reasons for the decision:

Improve the free flow of traffic at a busy junction and prevent over night parking where waste disposal has been an issue.
