Traffic Regulation Order – 20mph Zone Various Roads, Weymouth (Connaught Road, Cross Road, Down Road, Glebe Close and
Rectory Way).
That having considered the proposal to implement the new 20mph zone as advertised.
Having considered the information from Dorset Council’s Road Safety Team, support from the local members and Weymouth Town Council and members of the public, the 20mph zone is seen as a benefit to the various roads in Weymouth as detailed above and of particular benefit to those accessing Holy Trinity CE Primary School, Chipmunks Day Nursery and Cross Road Surgery.
