The effect of the Notice is as follows:  

[i] To impose a temporary road closure on; Bleke Street, Shaftesbury and High Street, Shaftesbury as indicated by signs on site.  

[ii] To impose a clearway and parking suspension as indicated by signs on site to prevent waiting or parking on the highway along Bleke Street, Shaftesbury and High Street, Shaftesbury. 

This Notice will enable Dorset Council to carry out carriageway maintenance and resurfacing works. 

Consultation not carried out by the Traffic Team.

Notice under Section 14 [2] of the Road Traffic Regulations Act 1984 as amended.

(a) because works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the road.
