In January 2026 the hosted partnership team for the Dorset National Landscape should be notified of its grant allocation from Defra for 2026-2027 and indicative allocations for 2027-2029. All support delivery of the Management Plan previously adopted by Cabinet.

(a)           That Cabinet accepts (in principle) the funding offered by Defra as the accountable body for the Dorset National Landscape Partnership, subject to the contract/s being found acceptable by officers representing legal and financial interests.

(b)           That Cabinet delegates the signing of contracts according to the Constitution’s Scheme of Delegation

Funding offered supports the discharge of statutory duties and enables positive delivery in alignment with Council Plan priorities.
