That after the Experimental Traffic Regulation Order having been in place since June 2022 to make the Experimental Order Permanent.

 

Reasons for the decision:

The School Street has been in place as an Experimental Traffic Regulation Order since June 2022. During the one-year consultation it has successfully reduced traffic during the restricted hours, resulting in increased safety and a positive impact on the children accessing school. No objections during the 12-month consultation period were received; full support from local members, Dorset police, Lychett Minster and Upton town council and endorsement from the head of governors of Upton Junior School.
