That having considered the proposals to implement the new speed limits as advertised after reducing the extent of the original proposal due to responses from the Public and Colehill Parish Council. The reduction of the Proposed speed limit no longer falls within Colehill Parish Council and Holt Parish Council’s Ward Boundaries.

Having considered the 20mph policy and information from Dorset Council’s Road Safety Team. Support from the local members and town/parish councils and members of the public the 20mph limits are seen as a benefit to the areas detailed above. Any unsupportive comments were outweighed by the safety impact. The extent of the Original proposal was reduced based on the responses of Colehill Parish Council and members of the public.
