Reason for the decision
Acquiring land that neighbours the Dorset Innovation Park would help develop the long-term strategic role of Dorset Innovation Park (DIP) as the centre of the defence industry in Dorset facilitating defence company growth.

The Cabinet Member for Property, Assets and Economic Growth presented an exempt report of the acquisition of land neighbouring the Dorset Innovation Park.
Following discussion, it was proposed by Cllr R Biggs and seconded by Cllr N Ireland.
