That the proposed responses to the NPPF and PPG consultations for submission be agreed.
Reason for the decision
Responding to the consultations meant that Dorset Council had an influence on the formation of the new NPPF and associated PPG. As one of the largest local planning authorities in England, it was important that a response was made.

The Cabinet Member for Planning and Emergency Planning presented a report and update sheet outlining Dorset Council’s proposed responses to the Government’s consultations on the National Planning Policy Framework (NPPF) and the Design and Placemaking Planning Practice Guidance (PPG).
It was proposed by Cllr S Bartlett and seconded by Cllr N Ireland
