Issue - meetings

To consider a report of the Cabinet member for Planning and Emergency Planning.

(a)       That the list of local heritage assets be approved and be published on the Dorset Council’s Website.

(b)       That authority be delegated to the Director of Planning, in consultation with the Cabinet Member for Planning, to approve any future modifications to the list.  

Reason for the decision

To approve and publish a list of local heritage assets which can be used to inform future planning decisions.

The Cabinet Member for Planning and Emergency Planning set out a report seeking approval for the Dorset Local Heritage List which had been developed jointly with BCP Council.

It was proposed by Cllr S Bartlett and seconded by Cllr N Ireland

Decision

(a)       That the list of local heritage assets be approved and be published on the Dorset Council’s Website.

(b)       That authority be delegated to the Director of Planning, in consultation with the Cabinet Member for Planning, to approve any future modifications to the list.
