SWAP Investigation Report

At the meeting of the Audit & Governance Committee held on 30 June 2025 members of the committee agreed to defer consideration of the SWAP Investigation Report. The following item of business is therefore to be considered at this reconvened meeting.

To receive a report by Sam Crowe, Interim Chief Executive.

Minutes:

The committee considered an investigation report from the South West Audit Partnership (SWAP).  The aim of reviewing the independent report was to have an open and honest discussion between members and officers to inform future organisational learning for the Council. Members discussed the report in detail and considered a number of learning points for going forward.  At the conclusion of the meeting the Interim Chief Executive agreed to update the list of actions from the report and to circulate the revised draft to members of the committee.
