In making their disclosure councillors are asked to state the agenda item, the nature of the interest and any action they propose to take as part of their declaration. Taxi Driver Application Minutes: The sub-committee considered a report to determine whether the
Applicant was a fit and proper person to hold a combined hackney and private
hire driver’s licence after offences were revealed in the application process. The Senior Licensing Officer presented his report. The Applicant was subsequently invited to put their case
forward and all parties were given the opportunity to ask questions of each
other and to sum up. The sub-committee retired to make its decision. Decision: To REFUSE the application for a combined hackney and private hire driver’s licence. |
