Exempt Business To consider passing the following recommendation: Recommendation: That in accordance with Section 100A(4) of the Local
Government Act 1972 to exclude the public from the meeting for the business
specified in item(s) No 6 because it is likely that if members of the public
were present there would be disclosure to them of exempt information as defined
in paragraph(s) 1 of Part 1 of schedule 12A to the Act and the public interest
in withholding the information outweighs the public interest in disclosing the
information to the public. The public and the press will be asked to leave the

Taxi Driver Application 1 Minutes: The Sub-Committee considered a report to determine whether the applicant was a fit and proper person to hold a combined private hire and hackney carriage licence after an offence was revealed. The Senior Licensing Officer presented the report and the sub-committee were given the opportunity to ask questions. Decision: To revoke the Combined Private Hire and Hackney Drivers Carriage Licence. |

The Licensing Team Leader presented the report. The applicant was subsequently invited to put their case forward and all parties were given the opportunity to ask questions of each other and to sum up. Decision: To issue a written warning letter. |
