Purpose of committee

“In accordance with the decision taken by Full Council on 4 May 2021, this informal meeting will take place virtually.  Decisions will be made by the appropriate officer following a ‘minded to’ decision by members of the committee.”     


The Strategic Planning Committee is responsible for dealing with matters including any application and/or any enforcement issue in relation to; any planning application whose red line crosses the boundaries of more than 1 Area Planning Committee; various minerals and waste applications and in relation to the registration for commons and town and village greens.
