road closure to enable Wessex Water safe access to
install a new water main..

Contacted key stakeholders in advance and advised of
different dates that works could commence.
Option 1: Wessex
Water road closure to take place for 5 weeks
between 31st October 2022 to 5th December 2022 in conjunction with the Ferry
refurbishment or Option 2: Wessex
Water road closure to take place for 5 weeks starting on 3rd January 2023 until
7th February 2023
The majority of the consultation responses were in favor
of Option 1, rather than Option 2. However
as comments were mixed decision was passed to Cllr Simon Gibson and Cllr Ray
Bryan.
