Decision:

Decision:

To agree the assessment decisions of the Communities and Partnership Team to distribute £50,000 additional funding to foodbanks, social supermarkets and food projects supporting our most vulnerable residents. The funding will assist with the increasing demand in their services because of the cost-of-living challenges facing many residents across the county.

The funding will be allocated according to numbers of clients per project using the data supplied by individual projects.  There are about 20 projects which have applied for funding – their allocation will be between £1,000 - £5,000 depending on size and demand.
