Dorset
Council Wimborne Road East, Ferndown in phased sections as follows: [i] between
Martins Drive and Queens Road from 18 May 2023 - 20 May 2023 and 22 May 2023 -
26 May 2023 between 20:00 - 06:00; [ii] between Queens Road and Ameysford Road
from 22 June 2023 - 24 June 2023 and 26 June 2023 - 30 June 2023 between 20:00
- 06:00; [iii] between Ameysford Road and 457 Wimborne Road East from 25
September 2023 - 4 October 2023 between 20:00 - 06:00. The Order is needed in
order to comply with health and safety regulations which require the provision
of safe working areas and to minimise the likelihood of danger to highway
users. It will come into operation on 18th May 2023 between 20:00 - 06:00 and
can remain in force for 18 months, however it is anticipated that the works
will be completed by 4th October 2023. The road will be open outside of these
times.
This
Order will enable Dorset Council to carry out carriageway maintenance and
resurfacing works.
