Exempt Business

To move the exclusion of the press and the public for the following item in view of the likely disclosure of exempt information within the meaning of paragraph 1 of schedule 12 A to the Local Government Act 1972 (as amended).

The public and the press will be asked to leave the meeting whilst the item of business is considered.

School Transport Appeals

To consider the school transport appeals as set out in the report by the Corporate Director for Education and Learning.

The Committee considered a number of appeals against the Council’s refusal to provide pupils with school transport support.

 

Decision

1.    That the appeal on behalf of CC, against the Council’s refusal to provide school transport support between their home and All Saints CE Academy, Weymouth, be allowed until the end of term July 2023.

2.    That the appeal on behalf of DL, against the Council’s refusal to provide school transport support between their home and Beaminster School, be refused.
