That in accordance with Section 100A(4) of the Local Government Act 1972 to exclude the public from the meeting for the business specified in item(s) No 1 because it is likely that if members of the public were present there would be disclosure to them of exempt information as defined in paragraph(s) 1 of Part 1 of schedule 12A to the Act and the public interest in withholding the information outweighs the public interest in disclosing the information to the public.

Transport Appeals

Minutes:

The Committee considered a number of appeals against the Council’s refusal to provide pupils with transport support.

Transport Appeal 1

Minutes:

That the appeal on behalf of SS against the Council’s refusal to provide transport support between her home and Sturminster Newton High School, be approved until the end of December 2024.

Transport Appeal 2

Minutes:

That the appeal on behalf of RT against the Council’s refusal to provide transport support between her home and Allenbourn Middle School, be refused.
