The Licensing
Committee deals with the discharge of the Council’s licensing, certification
and registration functions and determines any application relating to the
manufacture and/or storage of explosives.
The committee is
also responsible for exercising any of the Council’s functions under the Licensing Act 2003 and
Gambling Act 2005; and any other associated matters that naturally fall within
the jurisdiction of the committee where legislation permits.
